Electric Farm UTV and Cargo Trikes for Oregon Farms, Nurseries and Ranches

Oregon farm work comes in many flavors: wet-winter nursery rows in the Willamette Valley, hazelnut, berry and Christmas tree plantings, vineyards and orchards in the Rogue Valley and Columbia Gorge, and big hay and cattle ground east of the Cascades. What most of them share is a long list of short hauling jobs, such as pots, harvest bins, feed, fencing supplies, tools and irrigation parts, often across ground that is soft for much of the year.

An electric farm UTV in Oregon does not have to mean a big, expensive side-by-side. For many daily chores, a compact three-wheel electric cargo trike does the job for less money, fits through narrower gates and row ends, and charges from a regular outlet in the barn or shop. This page shows how the LLAMA Truck lineup matches Oregon farm and ranch work, with current prices from our store.

Why Oregon Growers and Ranchers Are Looking at Electric

  • Short, repetitive trips. Shop to field, barn to pasture gate, packing shed to the loading dock. Plugging in every night suits exactly these trips.
  • No fuel runs. Every LLAMA Truck model lists an AC 110-240V charging input, so you charge in the barn instead of hauling fuel cans.
  • Quiet around animals and crews. An electric motor is much quieter than a gas engine, which can be easier on livestock and on workers who spend all day nearby.
  • Fewer engine chores. No oil changes, spark plugs or carburetor cleanouts after the slow season.

Three-Wheel Cargo Trikes: Budget-Friendly Help for Oregon Farm Work

Lower price

Our three-wheel electric cargo trikes currently start at $1,999 for the Crest, compared with $12,499 for our four-wheel Apex UTV. On a small farm, that difference can cover a lot of irrigation fittings and fence wire.

Small footprint for rows, aisles and gates

Based on our dimension diagrams, the Vector and Platinum are each listed at about 3 feet 7.3 inches wide, and the Crest at 3 feet 7 inches wide. That narrow body helps between nursery beds, in greenhouse and barn aisles, and through walk gates that are tight for a full-size UTV. Measure your narrowest gate and row spacing before you order.

Easy to learn

Handlebar controls feel familiar to anyone who has ridden a bike or scooter, so family members and seasonal help can usually get comfortable quickly. Set your own rules for who drives, where and how fast.

Easy charging

Park it indoors or under cover, plug it into a standard outlet overnight and it is ready for morning chores.

Matching LLAMA Truck Models to Oregon Farm Jobs

LLAMA Truck Meridian: an enclosed cab for rainy-season work (from $4,999)

Western Oregon winters are famously damp, and a cab keeps the weather off you on long days. The LLAMA Truck Meridian has a weather-sealed enclosed cab with safety glass and a wiper, a 2000W peak motor, up to 50 miles of range and a 2,000 lbs dumping cargo bed. Versions differ:

  • Meridian (Heating & Fan): $4,999
  • Meridian (AC): $6,499
  • Meridian Pro (AC + power dump bed): $6,999
  • Meridian Platinum (Heating & Fan): $6,999

Not every Meridian version includes air conditioning or a power dump bed, so pick the version that matches how you work.

LLAMA Truck Platinum: stainless steel for wet, muddy work ($4,499)

The LLAMA Truck Platinum has a full stainless-steel frame and body and a gas-strut assisted manual dump bed. That makes it a practical choice around wash racks, water troughs, packing sheds and any job where equipment sits wet through the season. It lists a 1500W motor and a 25 mph top speed, though on farm lanes you will want to go much slower.

LLAMA Truck Blaze and Blaze Pro: soft ground and dumping (from $4,799)

For muddy lanes, rutted tracks and gentle hills, the LLAMA Truck Blaze lists an 1800W motor and 1,500 lbs max payload, and the Blaze Pro lists 2000W and 2,000 lbs. Both run a 72V 58Ah battery with up to 50 miles of max range and a 30-degree slope rating. Choose a manual dump bed ($4,799 Blaze, $5,099 Blaze Pro) or a power dump bed ($5,299 Blaze, $5,599 Blaze Pro) for gravel, mulch, soil and bedding. Some color options may be sold out, so check the product page.

When You Need a Four-Wheel Electric UTV

Bigger operations with long pasture runs, steep draws or a regular need for a passenger seat may want the LLAMA Truck Apex ($12,499). It lists a 3,000W rated motor, a 72V 100Ah lithium battery, a 62-mile range, a 2,200 lbs push-button hydraulic dump bed, 4-wheel hydraulic disc brakes and a 34 mph top speed with a high/low range gearbox. Many properties pair one Apex with a trike or two for close-in chores.

Common Oregon Use Cases

  • Nurseries and greenhouses: moving pots, flats, soil and tools along beds and aisles.
  • Berry, hazelnut and orchard growers: hauling harvest bins, tools and irrigation parts between rows.
  • Christmas tree farms: carrying tools, wrap and supplies through plantings.
  • Vineyards: trellis supplies, bins and tools along narrow rows.
  • Cattle, sheep and hay properties: feed, mineral, fence supplies and water out to pens and pastures.
  • Rural homesteads: brush cleanup, garden soil, firewood and general hauling.

Road Use and Local Rules

Rules for driving utility vehicles on public roads, and on public or private land, differ by state, county and city, and they can depend on the vehicle type and how you use it. We do not give legal advice. Before you drive on any public road or non-private land, check with your local authorities and the Oregon DMV. On your own property, set safe speeds and keep riders seated.

Free Shipping to Oregon

Per our shipping policy, LLAMA Trucks ship free to the lower 48 United States, which includes Oregon. Vehicles go through final assembly, testing and inspection (roughly 1-4 weeks) before delivery is scheduled, and delivery is by freight truck, curbside unless other arrangements are made. Plan to have a way to move the vehicle from the curb to your barn or shop.

Warranty

Our warranty page lists a limited lifetime chassis warranty, a 9-year lithium battery warranty and a 5-year lead-acid battery warranty for personal-use vehicles. Parts-only terms apply, and commercial, rental or fleet use needs separate written terms, so read the page before you buy for a business.
