FAQ
Are LLAMA Trucks legal to drive on public roads?
LLAMA Trucks are designed for unrestricted use on private property, farms, and job sites. For public road use, owners may register the vehicle with their local authorities, and once registered according to local regulations, the truck can be legally operated on public roads. Requirements vary by state, so we recommend checking with your local DMV.
Are LLAMA Trucks shipped fully assembled?
Yes! Every LLAMA Truck is fully assembled and tested for safety and quality. After your order, our team performs final assembly, inspection, and road testing at our facility (usually 2–4 weeks). Once complete, we schedule a freight delivery straight to your address.
To which addresses do you ship?
We provide free shipping to the lower 48 states in the U.S. We do not ship to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Alaska, PO Boxes, or APO/FPO addresses by default. (Note: we also offer Hawaii port pickup options in our separate shipping policy.)
Everyone talks about the cargo bed, but the locking storage compartment under the driver's seat is super underrated. It's perfect for keeping my gloves, phone, and a few hand tools dry and secure. The latch on it is a bit stiff, but at least it doesn't rattle. The whole unit feels very utilitarian in a good way.
We had a heavy rainstorm last week and my yard turned into a soup of red clay. I was worried the three wheels would get stuck, but those knobby 'mine tires' on the rear just dug in and kept pushing. It has way more torque than a golf cart. I wouldn't take it deep mud bogging, but for slippery farm tracks, it holds its own.
I have an old F-150 that gets 12mpg and needs a new transmission. I did the math and this electric truck pays for itself in just gas savings for my property management business. I charge it overnight in the garage. No oil changes, no filters, no gas station runs. It's been running daily for 3 months now with zero issues.
Using this for fence repair on the back 40. The LED headlight bar is actually useful, throws a wide beam so I can see broken wire at dusk. The drum brakes are strong enough to stop a full load, but they can be a little sensitive if you stomp on them—takes some finesse. Overall, it hauls t-posts and concrete bags without bogging down the motor.
We raise alpacas and they are skittish animals. They used to scatter whenever I started my diesel tractor. With the Llama Truck, I can drive right into the pen to drop off hay bales and they don't even flinch. It's made feeding time 100% less stressful. The bed fits exactly four square bales if you stack them right.
