How do I properly maintain the lead-acid battery in my Vector truck?
To maximize the lifespan and performance of your lead-acid battery, follow these essential maintenance steps: Keep it charged and plug the truck in after significant use. Avoid deep discharges and do not allow the battery to drain completely. Regularly check the water levels in the battery cells and top them off with distilled water only when needed, making sure not to overfill. Keep the battery terminals clean and free of corrosion to maintain a strong, safe electrical connection. For extended storage, keep the battery fully charged in a cool, dry location and recharge it at least once a month.
