LLAMA TRUCK LIMITED WARRANTY POLICY

At LLAMA TRUCK, we are committed to delivering durable, high-performance commercial electric trucks. This Limited Warranty outlines the terms and conditions under which LLAMA TRUCK warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal and intended use.

This warranty becomes effective on the date of original delivery and applies only within the scope described below.

1. Warranty Coverage Period by Component

The following components are covered against manufacturer defects from the date of original delivery:

Motor 2 Years
Frame 2 Years
Controller 2 Years
Gearbox 1 Year
Charger 1 Year
Battery 6 Months

Coverage is limited to defects in materials or workmanship occurring under normal operating conditions and proper maintenance.

2. Eligibility Requirements

  • This Limited Warranty applies only to the original purchaser.
  • The warranty is non-transferable and cannot be reassigned.
  • The vehicle must be purchased directly from llamatruck.com or an authorized distributor.
  • Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

Required documentation for claims:

  • Order Number
  • Buyer’s Full Name
  • Vehicle Model
  • Delivery Date (if available)

3. Battery-Specific Warranty Terms

The battery warranty covers manufacturing defects only. Due to the consumable nature of lithium and lead-acid batteries, natural capacity reduction over time is not considered a defect.

The battery warranty does NOT cover:

  • Capacity degradation due to normal use
  • Damage caused by over-discharging
  • Use of non-approved chargers
  • Improper storage (extreme heat, freezing, moisture)
  • Water submersion
  • Physical damage from impact or misuse

To maintain warranty validity, batteries must be charged according to the user manual and stored properly when not in use.

4. Warranty Exclusions

4.1 Normal Wear and Tear

The following items are considered consumables and are not covered:

  • Tires and inner tubes
  • Brake pads
  • Cables and housing
  • Light bulbs
  • Seats and upholstery
  • Cosmetic scratches or paint fading

4.2 Improper Use or Abuse

  • Overloading beyond rated weight capacity
  • Racing, stunt riding, or unsafe operation
  • Commercial rental use
  • Accidents or collision damage
  • Failure to follow the owner’s manual

4.3 Environmental Damage

  • Rust or corrosion from salt exposure
  • Flood damage
  • Prolonged exposure to rain or moisture
  • Extreme temperature damage

4.4 Unauthorized Modifications

  • Electrical system alterations
  • Motor or controller modifications
  • Frame welding or structural changes
  • Installation of non-approved third-party components
  • Repairs performed by unauthorized technicians

4.5 Improper Maintenance

  • Failure to follow charging guidelines
  • Lack of routine inspection
  • Neglecting recommended service intervals

5. Warranty Claim Procedure

If you believe your vehicle contains a manufacturing defect, follow these steps:

Step 1 – Contact Customer Support

Submit your request through our official website or email our support team.

Step 2 – Provide Evidence

  • Order Number
  • Buyer’s Name
  • Detailed written description of the issue
  • Clear photos or videos showing the defect

Step 3 – Evaluation

Our technical team will review the submitted materials. Additional information may be requested. LLAMA TRUCK reserves the right to inspect defective parts before approval.

Step 4 – Resolution

If the claim is approved, we may:

  • Provide replacement parts at no cost, or
  • Authorize repair at an approved service center.

Warranty remedies are limited to repair or replacement at LLAMA TRUCK’s discretion.

6. Shipping Responsibilities

  • Replacement parts approved under warranty are provided free of charge.
  • Customers may be responsible for return shipping of defective parts.
  • Shipping costs will be determined during the claim process.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LLAMA TRUCK shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the vehicle.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Loss of business
  • Loss of profits
  • Downtime
  • Loss of use
  • Transportation expenses

Total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.

8. General Provisions

  • This warranty gives you specific legal rights; additional rights may vary by state.
  • No dealer or reseller is authorized to modify this warranty.
  • LLAMA TRUCK reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time.
  • Continued use of the vehicle confirms acceptance of these terms.
