The Ranger is powered by a premium, high-performance Lithium-Ion battery system. Compared to traditional lead-acid batteries, lithium-ion technology requires virtually no routine maintenance, is significantly lighter, and charges much faster. While lead-acid batteries remain a basic, cost-effective choice for lighter tasks, the lithium battery in the Ranger delivers consistent, fade-free power and a significantly longer lifespan for demanding property management and off-road utility.
How do I properly maintain the lithium-ion battery in my Ranger truck?
The lithium-ion battery requires no fluid top-offs. To maximize its long-term health and performance, follow these basic guidelines: Avoid completely draining the battery and plug in the smart charger when the battery level drops to around 20%. For winter or extended storage, store the battery at approximately 80% charge in a cool, dry place rather than leaving it at 100% or allowing it to reach 0%. Always use the provided factory smart charger to ensure proper voltage regulation and safe charging cycles.
What is the warranty policy for the vehicle and the battery?
The LLAMA Truck Ranger includes a 2-Year Limited Warranty on the vehicle and a 30-Day Return Policy. The premium Lithium-Ion battery is covered for 2 years or 1,000 charge cycles, whichever occurs first. For comparison, standard lead-acid batteries are covered for 1 year or 300 cycles. During the applicable warranty period, if the battery's measured usable capacity falls below 70% of its original rated capacity due to natural degradation, it may be eligible for warranty service, subject to the standard warranty terms and conditions.
How much does shipping cost, and how will my truck arrive?
