FAQ
What type of battery does the LLAMA Truck Blaze use, and how does it compare to lithium?
The LLAMA Truck Blaze comes standard with a highly reliable Lead-Acid battery system, but we also offer a premium Lithium-Ion battery upgrade as an option. While our optional lithium-ion batteries offer a longer cycle life, faster charging, and require zero routine maintenance, the standard lead-acid batteries remain a proven, cost-effective solution for everyday hauling and property maintenance. The standard setup delivers robust, heavy-duty power at a more accessible upfront cost. If you prefer maximum longevity and zero routine maintenance, you can choose the lithium upgrade when building your truck.
How do I properly maintain the lead-acid battery in my Blaze truck?
To maximize the lifespan and performance of your lead-acid battery, follow these essential maintenance steps: Keep it charged and avoid deep discharges. Plug your truck in after significant use rather than allowing the battery to drain completely. Regularly check the water levels in the battery cells and top them off with distilled water only when needed, making sure not to overfill. Keep the battery terminals clean and free of corrosion to maintain a strong electrical connection. For extended storage, keep the battery fully charged in a cool, dry location and recharge it at least once a month.
What is the warranty policy for the vehicle and the battery?
The LLAMA Truck Blaze comes with a 2-Year Limited Warranty on the vehicle and a 30-Day Return Policy. The Lead-Acid battery is covered for 1 year or 300 charge cycles, whichever comes first. During the applicable warranty period, if the battery's measured usable capacity falls below 70% of its original rated capacity due to degradation, it may be eligible for warranty service, subject to our standard warranty terms and conditions.
How is the truck delivered, and how much does shipping cost?
We offer free shipping on the LLAMA Truck Blaze. To help ensure your vehicle arrives safely, we provide dedicated delivery service. Your truck will be delivered directly to your property, fully assembled, inspected, and ready to ride.
Can I test drive the LLAMA Truck Blaze before making a purchase?
Yes. We offer test drive appointments based on the availability of our demonstration vehicles. Test drive availability varies by region, the specific models available in your area, and driving distance. Please contact our customer service team to schedule an appointment and find a test vehicle near you.
Can I customize the truck’s color or add my company logo?
Yes. We offer customization options, including custom colors and company logo applications, so you can match the truck to your preferences or business branding. Please note that once a custom production order is confirmed and production begins, the order cannot be canceled or modified.
Is the LLAMA Truck Blaze street legal?
LLAMA Trucks are designed to meet the applicable standards for Low-Speed Vehicle (LSV) registration and on-road use. Many customers have successfully registered their vehicles independently through their local DMV or other relevant authorities. Registration requirements vary by state and local jurisdiction. If you would like to register your LLAMA Truck for road use, we can provide the necessary vehicle documentation and supporting paperwork to assist with the process, including the official MCO (Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin) and standardized VIN (Vehicle Identification Number).
