Prepare for Winter: Switch Your LLAMA Truck to Snow Mode
Winter brings a different set of challenges to outdoor work. Snow-covered paths, soft ground, and cold mornings can change how you use your utility vehicle—and what you need from it.
At LLAMA Truck, “Snow Mode” means preparing your truck with equipment suited to the season. Our rear rubber track conversion kit offers an alternative to standard rear wheels, while the Meridian’s heated cabin adds comfort for cold-weather operation.
Meet the Rear Rubber Track Conversion Kit
The LLAMA rear track kit replaces the truck’s two rear wheels with a pair of triangular rubber track assemblies. The original front wheel remains in place for steering.
Each assembly features a steel frame, internal rollers, and reinforced rubber tread. Its larger contact area distributes the rear load over more ground, helping reduce sinking on soft surfaces. Actual performance depends on snow depth, surface conditions, vehicle load, and driving technique.

Meridian: Snow Mode with a Heated Cabin
For drivers who want an enclosed cabin, the LLAMA Meridian adds another part of winter preparation: heat.
Its heated cabin provides a warmer space during cold-weather use. Combined with the optional rear track kit, it brings together two useful features for winter work—rear tracks for soft terrain and cabin heat for driver comfort.
Whether you are moving supplies around a property or handling everyday outdoor tasks, staying comfortable can make cold mornings easier.

What “Snow Mode” Means
Snow Mode is our name for this winter equipment setup. It refers to the rear track conversion—and, on the Meridian, the benefit of a heated cabin.
Tracks change how the rear of the truck contacts the ground, but they do not guarantee traction in every winter condition. Packed snow, loose snow, and ice behave differently. Plan your route, drive cautiously, and adjust your operation to the conditions.
Operating Your Track-Equipped LLAMA
The track kit is designed for soft terrain such as snow, mud, sand, and dirt. Follow the product’s operating guidelines whenever using it:
- Do not directly drive over curbs, logs, or obstacles higher than 3 inches.
- Reduce speed when approaching small obstacles or changes in elevation, and approach at an angle.
- Avoid prolonged high-speed operation on asphalt or concrete to limit premature tread wear.
Review the installation and operating instructions before use, and contact LLAMA Truck if you have questions about your setup.

The track kit itself is a physical product. Our real installation photos on the track kit product page show the actual track assemblies and mounting arrangement.
